Lagos created Lexlab in 2018 to address this very gap: too many agencies focus on strategy but leave the actual campaign setup and optimisation to junior staff. With 15 years of experience in both Australia and the UK, Lagos believes implementation is where true value lies.
Since launch, Lexlab has doubled its revenue year over year. One of its first major clients was IGA, where Lagos led a digital campaign that boosted in-store traffic. From there, word-of-mouth brought in clients like Rialto Distribution and Umbrella Entertainment, especially for film campaigns.
To support this implementation-first approach, Lexlab developed LabLogic, a proprietary planning platform that uses historical data to predict campaign outcomes. Lagos says LabLogic helped drive the top box-office theatrical release in Australia for two weeks straight.
Lexlab positions itself not as a standalone agency but as a digital implementation partner—bolting on to existing creative teams to handle the “doing” work. Lagos also praised the IMAA, noting that Lexlab’s membership aligns with their collaborative ethos and supports agencies with better digital execution.
